• Hi guys,

My blog is at http://www.journalator.net. I’m using a Twentyten child theme cobbled together with help from the codex. It should be noted I know very little about CSS or PHP, but have been able to make this thing work just by cutting pasting code to do the various things I need.

Anyway, I’m sure this is very, very easy for people who understand wordpress better than I do. I added a custom menu to direct people to a specific project I’m working on (a menu for a specific category, with an “about page” as a sub-menu item).

Anyway, I lost the “home” link that appeared in my header before I added the new custom menu and I’ve been searching these forums for a while trying to get it back. Can someone help me out?

  • You can add the Home link to your custom menu. Go to Appearance->Menus and click on ‘View All’ under ‘Pages’ in the left column.

This should show a ‘Home’ choice. Check it and click ‘Add to Menu’.
