Help with Shortcode – Event List Widget

I am not very technical at all. I am trying to write the shortcode to place in a Page, but what I am trying it not working. Can someone please help me in creating the shortcode for what I am trying to do?

I want the Event List shown.
showing year hlist
showing all | upcoming | past
showing category hlist
showing reset link

The shortcodes provided with events listing widget are only meant to be used to pull out specific fields from an event to display on that event’s page.

You would like to see a shortcode to be used to display the entire event list? If so, I will need to see about adding support for this in the plugin in a future version.

Well with just the shortcode [event-list], I cannot see the 2 categories filters I have set up. I would like the category filters to be displayed at the top of the page as well and I cannot get it to work.

Hmm… there is no [event-list] shortcode in Events Listing Widget. Perhaps you have another event plugin installed that provides this shortcode?
