• Looking for some help customizing a template. I can read and write code but i’m not the best in the world. I want to move the navigation bar (pagenav) from the top to underneath where the logo will be and remove the “navbar” meta thing that generates from the post categories. The top i’d like to name something like “nowplaying”…this is for a radio station and that’s where we could put the code for the current song on air. So i’d like some blank space for that.

After that I need help with something else. I need the homepage to be one column (like 943 px width) and for the other pages to have that 2nd column. Also on the left side of the page instead of the right. Can anyone help? 🙂

    Thanks in advance.

css is style.css…main index template is index.php and header is header.php

  • Not asking for much, are you 😉 I’d suggest that you start getting to grips with Theme Development. I’d also recommend using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for your CSS work.

makes sense…but like moving the “pagenav” into the “navbar” slot…is that information in the style.css? I have looked…i’ve even created a #nowplaying…but I can’t get anything to move.
