Help with user Registration

Hello there.

Went to check the documentation, but obviously that is still under development!

Was just after more advice with what I can do in terms of user registration.

At the moment, the form has a username, email, password, which is fine.

But there is no confirmation email sent to activate the account, or anything. Is this something that can be done in the forum software?

Or more of an overview would be great.

Any help would be appreciated.
