I have a setup the switches themes for mobile users, so I was trying to add something to the MOBILE PAGE ONLY by going to pages –> front page –> and editing the text right in there. This was a very stupid decision, and when it was done it didn’t turn out as intended so I reverted the changes via WordPress. This, however, didn’t fix the hero. My guess is that it doesn’t recognize my front page as a front page so It’s treating it as a normal one. No matter what settings I choose, I cannot get the buttons to show, I cannot move the header text nor change it from displaying the technical page title and the site slogan. I was able to change the background but that’s about it. What do I need to do to reconnect my hero to recognize my front page so I can customize it to my liking? Thanks in advance for the help – Blu

  • Hello,

Go to WP Admin -> Pages -> Your Front Page -> Quick Edit -> Template, and check if your page template was changed.

You should use the Front Page Template for your Front Page.
