• Hi there,

I’ve beeen trying around different kinds of stuff to solve the problem that my frontpage has some theme specific Hestia frontpage sections which I cannot translate. Usually they should appear in the strings section of the Polylang plugin shouldn’t they? I’ve tried importing CSV files/ adding translations manually but that does not seem to work. It would already help me to know if it is a Hestia or a Polylang issue.

I want to translate my page in German, English and French. The initial page was created in German. If you have a look at the page and switch between the languages on the top, you can see that some sections of the front page are not changing.

    Thanks for any help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @flourishing If this is text which is regular coming from the theme code, you need to have a wpml.xml file in the theme directory to see text in the string translation. If you do not have this a file, you should ask the theme developer.
Alternatively you can ask the theme developer for the theme translation files or you translate the theme with Loco Translator by yourself.
