    Hi,

I use SPIO a long time and usually it works fine. Some months ago I acticate the SPIO CDN for better results on Google Core Web Vitals. This works good for my mobile results – but not for my desktop results. I use cloudflare for real user meassurement data. The RUM data shows me some LCP problems – but only with some pictures – not all.
So I have for some news a very small standard picture.
    The analyse shows me

I have no idea why this picture load needs so mutch time from the CDN.
Have you any idea for me?

  • Hi Markus,

The image itself is loading perfectly fine, as you can see here: https://i.imgur.com/sM2isLV.png

The problem you might have is that the LCP is not caused exclusively by the image. The LCP is also affected by how optimized your website is. For example, some scripts, if unoptimized, may block the browser main thread, which means that your image will load after these scripts finish their work. Or maybe your image is not preloaded. There’s a lot of ways to optimize your site.

I recommend you contact a performance specialist so they help you optimize your site 🙂

    Cheers!
