Hidden Image SEO problems

Hi! I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what’s happening with my SEO after I hide an image.

Before I insert the hidden image, my SEO is a green light. After I insert the image and use the none code, my wordcount drops almost to 0 and my SEO drops.

The code I am using is <div style=”display: none;”> and after the image I insert </div>
