Hidden redirect

There is a redirect caused by this plugin that is not showing and i cant get hid of. The redirect is not in the htaccess file. Please advise as to the cause of the problem/how to solve it.
the redirect is from https://www.sarcoidosisuk.org/information/ to https://www.sarcoidosisuk.org/information/about-sarcoidosis/

EDIT: This plugin has been abandoned, @sarcoiduk. You should actually “upgrade” to rw Quick Page and Post Redirects, which I’ve taken over as a replacement for this one. 🙂

After swapping them out, go ahead and reference this thread in a support post for the one I linked above and let me know your answers/findings from below, please. 😀

@sarcoiduk, can you do a quick test for me, please?

Deactivate the plugin, clear your cache (close and then re-open your browser) and see if the redirect still happens, please?

Also, did you check WP Admin -> Quick Redirects -> Redirect Summary to see if it’s listed there? If you see it there, then check under WP Admin -> Quick Redirects -> Quick Redirects, under the “Existing Redirects” section towards the bottom.

Also, did you check WP Admin -> Quick Redirects -> Redirect Summary to see if it’s listed there? If you see it there, then check under WP Admin -> Quick Redirects -> Quick Redirects, under the “Existing Redirects” section towards the bottom. It is not listed there.

Do I need to remove the old plugin before updating?

@sarcoiduk, yes. Instructions for “upgrading” are on the other support boards. (It’s a really painless upgrade; no data will be lost).

I’m hoping that, with the bug fixes I’ve done, that your hidden redirect will show up there.
