Hi Alex,
If role includes ‘ure_edit_roles’ capability additional option is not applied to it.

Hi Vladimir,
Thanks for your replay. But I didn’t catch the sentence.
The admin and the keymaster roles include ‘ure_edit_roles’.
Kind regards
Alex
Alex,
This capability allows the access to the URE. That is such user may simply change this option ‘Hide admin bar’. So this option even is not executed for such users.

Vladimir,
Thanks again. Should I deselect the capability “ure_edit_roles” for admins? I think no? Should I introduce a new role “admin without URE”?
Alex,
This additional option inside URE not for administrators. I should hide it for the ‘Administrator’ role possibly.
I suppose that you have not too much users with ‘administrator’ role at the site. Open such user profile and uncheck Show Toolbar when viewing site.
If you trust to the user enough giving him ‘administrator’ role, could he decide himself to see or not to see admin toolbar?

Hi!

Of course… We have only 2 admins (me and one colleague).
I unchecked “ure_edit_roles”, the toolbar on frontend disappeared… But now I have to change the settings for URE in the database. Strange – I think I didn’t unterstand.
Admin is the “highest” role – IMHO they can adjust everything.
Alex,
Yes, admin can adjust everything. Why do not use user profile checkbox to hide admin bar at front-end?
Additional options to the roles is a some kind of limitation. Administrator is a person with the full access. For this reason I do not execute for administrator any code which may restrict him.
