Hi, is it possible to hide @WPadminusername in the drop list for security reason?

- May I know where exactly you want to hide this?
- If I understood correct, you want to mention user, but don’t want to display username right?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I mean I just don’t want user of the forum to see the admin username when they mention somebody in bbpress forum. Pls see screenshot below:

Do you mean don’t show users in the list whose role is Admin?
If Yes, that is not possible at the moment.
If you are a dev, then you can use this filter: cmt_mntn_get_users_args
But this gives me an idea to add a new feature where we will provide setting where we can selected roles for who can be tagged? Selected role’s users will be there in the list.

I’m not a developer, so I don’t know how to use the filter codes you gave me. But I expect your next plugin update so that you can add this feature to it. 🙂
One more issue (which I already posted in a previous topic), when I @mention a user (@looksh) in a bbpress forum, it shows funny codes:

Thanks for the latest plugin update. I finally can hide @admin in dropdown list. 🙂
