Two issue here, one of them I don’t know if can be “resolved”.

Before use WP Adminify, when I don’t have the plugin active I use the plugin Advanced Access Manager to limitate some rules in accessing admin menu. If I activate WP Adminify all limitations set on the Advanced Access Manager is lost this because WP Adminify use his own template.
I don’t know if something to not lost the Advanced Access Manager limitations can be done… like an importing settings and use on Adminify interface.

The second real issue is that on this new version of WP Adminify that I love because is much faster and nice with also the loading animation, when I edit admin menu to hide items to a rule then I switch to the user profile, all items menu are visible. If user click on limited items will see access denied but I need the items is completely hide and it’s not.

So if from admin I set some menu items to be hidden for some rules, when I switch to this users profile I expect this items menu are not visible to that rule.

In the new WP Adminify I see all hidden menu items to a user rule are still visible.

  • Hello @peopleinside

I don’t know if this can help but I found some errors while surfing the admin side with adminify on my website.

Thanks for sharing the error. Hopefully tomorrow we can release a new update with fixing.

We have tried to provide basic support for Advanced Access Manager plugin. If you have hidden any main menu item by this Advanced Access Manager plugin then WP Adminify ui will support it. But hiding submenu items support is not possible because it needs more research and need to understand their system properly and by that way we have to modify our condition.

Also, we fixed WP Adminify hidden for rules issue properly in this update. WP Adminify admin menu editor hidden for rules works fine for specific user name or user role now. Including any custom User role or other plugin based user role like woocommerce create Shop Manager role.

Please install the latest version of WP Adminify and try it. Make sure to clean your website dashboard cache if you are using any caching plugin.

Hi and thank you for your amazing support, I’m really happy to see this new update.
I can confirm all work as expected: all previous reported issue seems to be fixed!

Just a new small issue: Adminify allow me to hide to some rules items in the vertical right menu but doesn’t allow me to hide items in the top horizontal bar where there is also the button to access Adminify. Its me that I never find where can hide also that item that I can hide using the Advanced Access Manager plugin or.. it’s a feature you don’t have and maybe should be added?

Some plugin puts his item menu also on the top horizontal bar so it’s useful be able to hide also that item and not only the item in the vertical bar.

    Hello,

Yes, this is a known bug to us. We wanted to fixed this in our previous update but due to some complication we unable to release this fixing.

In our Admin Bar Editor you can hide the left admin bar menu items but there is option to hide right side admin bar items, but it don’t work as it should. This happens only when WP Adminify UI is active but in default UI it works fine. We will release this fixing in our upcoming update.

@royjemee for customize the admin bar showed on top I need install another plugin? Is no more a function integrated in the Adminify?

I don’t have the admin bar editor installed. My issue is that in Adminify I can hide right side menu items but not the admin bar items.

In the past was all possible in Adminify, now I would need install an additional plugin?
I tested also the plugin and never work, menu admin bar items are not hidden for the role.

    Hello @peopleinside

Sorry for the late response. Previously there was a few option to hide from WP Adminify admin bar, but it was not support to hide third party plugins item.

At present we made the dedicated Admin Bar editor plugin and it offers more flexibility.

This week we are working to make the Admin Bar Editor more better lighter with modern UI. We haven’t removed everything but keep some option that can be remove from the admin bar inside customize option => https://prnt.sc/-omtAUqXYfNH

Please try at least once Admin Bar Editor and I hope you will love our upcoming update of Admin bar editor.

Thank you so much and let me know any thoughts you have. If you are happy please resolve the topic. Feel free to create any topic in the future. Also note that, I noted your other issues carefully and our dev team is fixing them one by one.
