Hide ads within specific css class when using insertion inside HTML Element

Is it possible to hide ads within a specific CSS class when using insertion inside an HTML Element?

I have added the class ai-avoid to certain wrapping divs and I would like ads not to appear within these.

The No Paragraph counting setting isn’t an option when inserting within an html element.

The html element is div.bbp-reply-content p action prepend content insertionserver-side`

Under Lists there isn’t anything there that qualifies categories, tags, taxonomies, post ids, urls, referrers, clients, ip's or countriesthat would achieve this block without also blocking the remaining ads from loading.

    Hello,

For insertions before, after or inside HTML element you specify the selector for the taget elements so the block will be inserted exactly there – as described by the selector.

To avoid insertions inside ai-avoid divs you shoud use insertion before/after paragraph and set paragraph counting accordingly:
    https://adinserter.pro/documentation/paragraph-settings#counting
    This is the easiest approach.

In order to help you with the settings need to follow the instructions and provde some data so we can check your website.

It seems that this is your first support thread for Ad Inserter, however, you already posted a negative review saying “Lack of Support”.

Not sure how to understand your approach. Review extorsion is not the right way to go.

I contacted you several days ago and was told to upgrade again, which means I have to pay again for pro version and this has been an ongoing issue that was not resolved when I paid for the pro version the first time, hence the reason for not updating/upgrading again- and the reason for the review.

Paragraph settings are not an option on bbpress topic pages. The only option is an HTML element div.bbp-reply-content p

This is support forum for free Ad Inserter.

If you have a valid license for a pro version then you don’t have to “pay again” – use this form to submit a support ticket:
    https://adinserter.pro/contact#help
All users with a valid license are eligible for updates and support.

It is against the Forum Guidelines to offer help here.

We could not find any support ticket related to you.

I’m sorry you don’t have records of our conversation. Your response, via email on Tuesday, Jan 25 at 1:50 pm was:

“You are using a very old plugin version.
Please update to the latest version.
Many bugs and security vulnerabilities have been fixed since then.

To which I replied, “It won’t let me update.
I kind of have an issue with paying again for a product that I couldn’t get to work properly in the first place.” and never received a response….

Updating requires that I purchase another license. The product wasn’t working properly with the last purchase, so why would I want to spend more money to update to “hope” it would work with an additional license purchase?

You call it extortion that I wrote a review that I received poor support, I call it extortion that you force people to pay to update under the guise that you might help them after.

As I mentioned previously, I did that once before (paid to renew the license and update) and the ad inserter STILL to this day inserts ads within the blockquote despite emails back and forth requesting help to resolve it. (case in point: https://snipboard.io/7dhFxW.jpg , with NO paragraph counting inside set-> https://snipboard.io/R2OeHV.jpg and the ad uses insertion inside HTML element which does not have paragraph settings.

The issue never got resolved. Each time I get the same canned response, linking back to that same paragraph settings page that does Not work with bbpress/html insertion.

    That’s not helpful, nor supportive.

Also not a conversation for this site.

    Here’s the part.

For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
