Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Blog Options
Look for all the checkbox settings at the bottom of that panel, and you will see all the elements you can turn on or off.

ah… sounds like a bug in the theme that needs fixing then. Just to confirm, are you referring to the author under the post title where the publish date and comments link is, or the author bio that is at the bottom of the full post ?
It’s hidden on my “home page” (sorry, I’m german… :D)
but it’s still on my single post page.

OK…all fixed. I added a new setting to turn on or off that author on the full post view. So there are two. One for the blog post summary (the intro) and the other for the full post view.
I also did a few other updates with the theme too, but the one problem you found is fixed. You should be getting an update notice in your admin area for Aberration Lite version 1.0.6
