Hide box for certain authors?

    Is there a way to hide the box for certain authors? For example, I like to have it enabled for certain pages, but would rather it not show for the main pages where the editor is the author.

    I have a child theme, so if there’s a way to do it in functions.php, that would be great.

    Hi,

    Yes, you should be able to disable the author box from some authors.
    Go to edit profile and switch off “Show the Starbox for this author” for that specific author.
