I have a lot of categories in my website. I’d like to hide child categories and make them appear only when clicking on their parent category. Is there a way to do that? I found something, a css code but it wasn’t working for me. Thanks

    Hi,

You can only hide the sub-categories or make it easier to select if you switch your Categories “Display as” to either Multi-select or Dropdown, with checkbox, radio or links all categories, inc. child categories will be visible and not possible to make them as a dropdown only within category fields.

Ok and how I am supposed to be able to hide them?

I tried to chose ” Multi-select or Dropdown” as you said but it’s still the same. There’s only thing different is indentation.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please send us a link to your website to the page where you added the filters, so we can check.

Sorry, but I can’t see any child categories on your page, could you point out the child categories / what you would like to hide?
