hide create new page

    I`m trying to prevent user to add new pages base on their role but keep the edit page option.
    so i went to write options -> page and selected the fields add new and publish action.
    but the user can still add new pages.

    its important to know that when i selected the menu options -> pages -> add new. it closed all of the pages area and not jest the add new option or the publish option
