Hi @hagentertainment
Thank you for submitting your query. In this situation, you can go through between these slots: Directory Builder > Edit > General > Bottom > Remove > https://prnt.sc/26l809n, Settings > Listings > All Listings > Remove > https://prnt.sc/26l80rc
Hopefully, this will solve your default preview image displaying issue. If not please contact us through directorist.com/contact.

Hi,
I have this same question and your answer does not make sense. I do not want to show any preview images but no matter what I do it still shows the default image (/wp-content/plugins/directorist/assets/images/grid.jpg) on the Single Listing page.
I am using the free version of Directorist and when I go to Directory Builder – General I do not see any options for removing the default image.
When I go to Settings – Listings – All listings – Select Listing Preview Image I see that I can click the trash icon to delete the image but it does not really delete it.
I also tried going to Settings – Listings – Single Listing and turned off Show Slider Image and turned off Fix Repeated Thumbnail of Single Listing but the default image still shows up.
How can I hide the default preview Listing Preview Image?
Also, if I decide to keep the image, how can change the size to something small like 100×100 pixels?
Thanks,
Russ
FYI – I figured out that the problem is that the hide image options do not work with the Astra theme.
Hi @russsd,
You can’t delete the default Preview Image, you can only change it. That (/wp-content/plugins/directorist/assets/images/grid.jpg) is a fallback image if there’s no preview image set on the Directory Builder and/or on the Settings.
If you want to remove the preview image from the Single Page Layout, you need to do it from the Directory Builder. Navigate to Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Single Page Layout and delete the Listings Slider: https://i.imgur.com/bYY6rMd.png
That toggle on Single Listing Settings is for the Slider but the preview image will be still there. So you’ll have to actually delete it from your Single Page Layout.

Thank you Mahdi. That worked and did exactly what I need.
