Hello I have the most recent update of Adminify. I am using the Hide rules feature but it’s not working for me. I would like to hide the WP Adminify from my client, however currently it’s still visible on the client login. The only thing that seems to work is adding a link but it still shows up in very top menu so they still have access to it. Please advise how I can hide these options from my client, and currently they can see any info and change it.  Additionally, I’d like to remove the link in the header menu on the backend.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @mrshortscreates

Thanks for getting in touch. I think you have adminstrator user role for your client too. We are going to release a new update where you can hide any menu items based on username (who are adminstrator) also.

To hide the admin bar “WP Adminify” option, you need to install the admin bar editor addon from the WP Adminify addons page and simply hide the “WP Adminify” admin bar items.

    Thank you

    Hello @mrshortscreates

So sorry for this. But I discussed with our team and noticed that the issue already resolved in this present update. Here is a video for you: https://www.loom.com/share/86a167f614b7452fabff628897af8321?sid=a52427f2-8015-455e-9c18-d656a96828db

This is how you can easily hide any admin menu or admin bar options based on specific user name.

@royjemee I have done what you mentioned and the only thing that seems to work to remove the ‘manage_options’ in the admin area of the user role settings. I think part of the issues is upon hand-off to the client I created a user role that was a ‘team admin’ meant to be just under an admin, in an attempt to give editing access for pages, elementor, etc. without giving access to the Adminify dashboard. For now, this workaround works, but the ‘hide from’ still doesn’t work when “Manage_options” is selected.

Also added the admin bar editor but the page is showing blank.

Please reload and try again. Sometime this type of issue happens due to caching. Just try to navigate to the WP Admin manually or reload the page .
