You also need to clear the caches if there is an option for that. If you are not logged in and see the [L] then you are still logged in or get the cached page. Please use the incognito tab and clear the caches.

Please use a different browser and the incognito mode to validate is has nothing to do with the browser cache. If you are able to see the [L] if you are not logged in as administrator it’s definitely the cache plugin or your browser.
yes see [L] plugin cache is turn off and i have tests with IE11.
test with edge last version. Its the same.
i never use edge unil now.
i have testet with crome on complete diferent pc i had instal chrome for fisrt time open and steel see [L]
Ok then the pages are still delivered from the caching plugin even it’s deactivated. Reactivate the plugin and search for a cache invalidate option.
one more thing.group1 andgroup2 users are with diferent names but same role type.
today a made same tasts as mane weeks ago and result is same. With old version WP on diferent server i had test many browsers with clear cache or not plugin for cache.Diferent themes or diferent role type users. Steel can hide post from some user author role to another user with another group .
