I am trying out the plugin. Looks neat! Thank you!
I was wondering if there is an option or hack to hide the protected content instead of using override, blur, obfuscate, etc. so that protected posts won’t be listed at all in the home page or recent posts page.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi @neuroticimbecile ,

Thanks for the kind words and the feature request. Currently, the protected content (page/ post ) has no hide option from the index. I can absolutely see value in your use case & I am glad to let you know that I have added this feature in the upcoming version release.

When the new version is released I will follow up and let you know!

    Kind regards

    Faruk

    Hi Faruk,

    Good day!
Glad to hear back from you!
Thank you very much for working on the requested feature.

We tried to activate the new version of the “All in One Content Restriction” plugin on wordpress 6.0.2 and running on php 5.6.40 (sorry for the old version, but it’s supported with maintenance updates until 2024), and we got this error:

Fatal error: Default value for parameters with a class type hint can only be NULL in /home/rockwell.inator.app/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-content-restriction/includes/classes/protections/class-protection-manager.php on line 148

Any suggestions/workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you again.

    Regards,
    -eric

    Hi Eric,

Good evening, I have just now released a new version 1.6.5 which should fix the compatibility issue. I have tested with WordPress 6.0.2 and PHP 5.6.40 on a fresh WP install. It should be working fine now 🙂

Whenever you have a chance, please give version 1.6.5 a try and let me know. Thanks for your help!

    Best,
    Faruk
