The title option is only for the ticker title that shows within the shortcode. If you are viewing the single post page for the ticker you are most likely seeing the Page title. The title setting within the ticker does not affect the template view (and subsequent title) of the single post.
Is this the issue you are running into? Try adding the ticker to a page using the shortcode that is generated and you should see that the title is not displayed.

You see the title of the ticker (Meldefrist 2018), even though “Show title of the ticker” is not marked.
