Hide Variations

Hi, I am needing to hide variations according to the category that one enters.

For example, “Product A” has 6 colors. If I enter the “Boys Category”, “Product A” should appear with 3 colors and hide the 3 girls colors. If I enter the “Girls Category” “Product A” should appear with 3 colors and hide the 3 boys colors. Now if I enter the “unisex” category, the variable “PRODUCT A” should appear with its 6 colors.

It occurred to me to create the product 3 times but it seems to me that it is not ideal. What I can do?

We do have the Composite Products extension that will get you to what you need to achieve. It has conditional logic and can display options based on a customer’s previous choice.

It would require custom coding to hide variations from a specific category. You can get insights from the following links:
