Doing some development work on a client website.

We set up the custom delivery settings so only orders in a Valentines category would have dates, but the plugin is autofilling dates on all orders and putting them on the new Order email annd Woocommerce>order>specific order areas.

This is confusing customers and the client since those should not have delivery dates listed. We only need them on the Custom category we are using.

Order Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce: Version 9.21.1
    Woocommerce: 4.9.2
    Wordpress: 5.6

    Hi @ginaric,

If you have created the custom delivery setting for the specific product categories then it doesn’t mean the delivery date field won’t appear on the checkout page for other categories.

We have the custom delivery setting option for categories that is for creating/scheduling the different delivery date and time settings than other products.

For hiding the delivery date field on the checkout page, go to the Products >> Categories section, edit those categories and disable the option named “Enable Delivery Dates?” there.

If the above setting will be disabled, the delivery date field won’t appear on the checkout page when the product of that category is added to the cart.

Do let me know whether this information helped you or not.

    Regards,
    Chetna Bhutka

We were able to hide it on the order page.

The issue is on Order notifications and the Order page in the backend of the site. Customers and clients still see a default delivery date when there should be none.
