Hiding plugins…

    Hi, I am thinking about using your plugin along with a role management plugin to create a more streamlined dashboard for my editors/admin .

    In regards to restricting plugins. I like how it removes them from the menu. Is it simply hiding them or hooking into not loading them? If this makes sense. I am wondering if this will help with memory usage or load times for the backend admin area.

    The memory usage is not really a topic. I filter the menu of WordPress and check before the role of the current user.

    But you can analyze this with plugins or custom source.
    like the plugin Debug Objects helps you to see memory usage.
