I’m building a site with custom user roles and I noticed that if I take all default permissions away your plugins main menu level shows in the dashboard. It doesn’t have any sub items and if you click on it you get taken to the “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” page, but I was wondering if you would consider fixing the menu so if you don’t have permission to use it you can’t see it at all. I think that would be a better user experience.

I’m creating my custom user roles through the toolset access control plugin. The user role literally only has access to read a custom post type and that is it.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I just tried revoking the capabilities “manage_options” and “edit_theme_options” from an admin user, and that hides the “Content Aware” and its submenus completely.

    What capabilities are you revoking?
