Hierarchical Repeatable Field Group

    I’m building a website for a charity and I need to record fundraising data.
    Is it possible to have a repeatable group field within a repeatable field group?

    Fundraising Event (group field)
    Date(field) Total Raised(field) | Donors List (group field)
    | Person1 (selectbox) Registered (checkbox)
    | Person2 (selectbox) Registered (checkbox)
    | Add Another Donor (button)
    Add Another Fundraising (button)

    So for each fundraising event I need to record the date and the amount raised as well as record every person who donated at each event and whether he/she is registered, etc.

    I think this open issue may be related: https://github.com/CMB2/CMB2/issues/348

    It’s worth trying, but I know nested repeatable fields hasn’t always been the smoothest experience for users. Complex topic underneath it all.

    Looking at the information you’ve provided, I want to say it may be better to turn each event into a custom post type, and handle that level there, then you’d have only the donors list as a repeatable section.

    Just some food for thought.
