Hierarchical support

    I love his plugin and am using it in one of my projects.

    It critically needs one feature though.

    Where a hierarchical post type is being shadowed it should replicate this hierarchy in the term hierarchy. I have a rudimentary patch for this working in my own project but it would be a very beneficial if this was in the core plugin.

    Is this on the roadmap?

    Thanks @shawfactor! I don’t think we had run into a use case for shadowing hierarchy yet, but I think that’s a great idea. I’ve opened an issue in our main repo to track this. I can’t promise it will be quick, but we’ll get there. 🙂 https://github.com/happyprime/shadow-terms/issues/61

    I have a use case atm, individual trees in a large park as represented by a cpt each tree has a species those species are hierarchical ie family -> genus -> sub genus -> species -> variety

    I have built a plugin to keep the shadow terms hierarchical (it was easy enough but the code itself is clunky) but it would be nice to have it in the core plugin
