High CPU load

    Hi, the plugin gives hard time to CPU, especially in Edge (almost not able to scroll simple page) or Firefox. Chrome seems to be working better but the load is visible also. I have prepared a demo for you on https://test.newschannel.cz/. There are practically no plugins active, the theme is the latest Divi.

    The problem seems to go away if I disable “Make video player responsive” option in the plugin settings (It is ok to disable it as it seems the videos stay responsive anyway).

    Video.js wasn’t responsive in the past so I had to do some tricks to make it work. I suspect some of those things don’t need to happen anymore. There’s a “resize” event that watches for the window to resize that isn’t used when you disable the responsive player option. Something must be triggering it even though the window isn’t resizing. I’ve added an issue on GitHub so you can track my progress.

    If possible see if you can disable the SmoothScroll plugin that comes with the Divi theme. I’m seeing a lot of events firing from that script on the test page.

    Disabling smooth scrolling helps a bit, disabling responsive option much more. I left them both on so you can see what is going on.

    The 4.6.25 update should reduce CPU load in the Edge browser when responsive resizing is enabled.
