Highlight class not added when using full url

Hello,
I’m using the plugin and overall it works very well for me. One Problem: When I use full Urls the highlight class is not added.

Example: http://bistropapillon.de.w0154114.kasserver.com is the URL of the Website:

Using /#fussball in the menu, page is scrolled smoothly and menu-item gets highlight class.

Using http://bistropapillon.de.w0154114.kasserver.com/#fussball in the menu, page is scrolled smoothly and menu-item does not get highlight class.

Menu Links option is enabled. ( Actually I tried every combination of checkboxes, but nothing changed re this issue). Disabling it and manually add class (discribed in other thread as solution) does not work either.

Any Idea?

Hello,

You’re site’s URL is http://www.bistropapillon.de/ (not bistropapillon.de.w0154114.kasserver.com which redirects to www.bistropapillon.de), so this is the URL you should use.

Try changing your link’s URL to http://www.bistropapillon.de/#fussball and highlighting should work 😉

Hi,
sorry, we where forced to go live tonight, so the URL changed. Problem remains,

http://www.bistropapillon.de/#fussball > no highlight
#fussball > highlight

The class “mPS2id-clicked” is assigned to the URL-Link, “mPS2id-highlight” only to active “just” #-Links.

OK. It seems you have 2 additional links pointing to #fussball (index, lines 203 and 248).
Can you change those too to the full URL http://www.bistropapillon.de/#fussball?

Is it possible without using full URL? Because with full URL it is harder to move WordPress to different domain.

Highlighting does not work for “/#fussball” (with / at the beginning).

It is related to http://manos.malihu.gr/page-scroll-to-id-for-wordpress-tutorial/#links-section-different-pages

@m8n I’ll do some tests and if everything goes well, I’ll implement it on a future version (I can’t give an estimate though). Thanks for the suggestion.
