HIPAA compliant?

    Some businesses require HIPAA compliance, which means they have to be able to control ALL patient data. When someone books, does the data stay 100% with the website, or is it sent to an external DB (away from the website)?

    Are there any components within this plugin that relies on external sources at any point?

    Hello @bearlydoug! That’s a great question. Since the plugin is completely self-hosted, your website is responsible for securing patient data. SSA can be HIPAA compliant, but this would rely on your website’s host to encrypt the entire database and for you to be careful of the features that you use in the plugin.
