• Does anyone know if there is a way to see disk usage history in wordpress? In 10 days my disk usage has increased 85MB. There are only 25mb of things added in the uploads folders in that time frame, so I know its not the uploads.

Maybe it is a plugin/theme update or wordpress update that caused the usage increase…
I know where to see the current disk usage in tools>site health but that is just the current usage…. I am wondering if there is a way to see the history, to see what has caused the recent increase…. Thanks.

Do you have a cache folder? That’s where things might get large from time to time.

There are some plugins that show current disk usage. I don’t know if they track it. You’d need to do a little research: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search/disk+usage

    Thanks for the response @sterndata

That was consuming 9mb. Thanks for the tip, I cleared that out….

The cache will recreate itself. It’s there to make your website faster. Install that plugin that creates the “circle” of directories and sizes and check it once a week. But as long as you’re not going over your hosting quota, it’s not too much to worry about.
