    Hi Danny,

I have a similar problem as Ikvindlezenleuk 3 days ago. After the update historical stats are gone.

This is the blog of my friend Bernd. For him it is important to see the stats. It is his motivation to write wonderful articles without monetary interests.

Is there a way to get the stats back without restoration?

I could do a restoration with Updraftplus but feel insecure with his large website.

I tried an update to 2.0.11 — no difference.
I tried this “Also, what happens if you go to /wp-admin/?koko_analytics_action=fix_post_paths_after_v2 while logged-in (and on version 2.0.11)?” — does only show the dashboard.

I have a downloaded a database back-up (Updraftplus), but no idea how to handle it. Is there a way to get the historical data out of this database back-up and insert it in the recent version?
I should get access to the database via PHPMyAdmin.

Thank you very much for your valuable support
    Stefan

    Hi @stefaninthailand,

I am not directly familiar with the UpdraftPlus back-up format but if it’s relatively standard, it should be a text file containing all the SQL queries to restore the database in the state at the time of the back-up.

If you want, you can send it to me at [email protected] and I can pull out just the relevant parts for Koko Analytics for you.

Basically, you need to delete any SQL statements in the file which are not acting on the wp_koko_analytics_* tables. I’d be happy to do it for you though.

    Best,
    Danny

    Hi Danny,

That offer is far beyond normal support. Thank you so much.
