That doesn’t happen out of the box, so you’re either breaking stuff with custom code in your child theme or you’re using a plugin that is affecting this.
You could do some general troubleshooting to find the culprit on your site: Troubleshooting in WordPress.

Then there really must be something wrong on your website. You may want to check your content for broken or invalid HTML tags or else.
This definitely isn’t a theme issue. Other users don’t have such issues (the theme is running on more than 30,000 websites) and it’s also working fine in the theme demo.
