I am using Tiny Framework v 2.1.0 and enjoying the learning experience. I am modifying both a child functions.php and a child style.css based upon your efforts for my website http://www.jfkwebdesign.com. So far, so good!! I am following your notes in the comprehensive guide.
The Home (Front) page has the sidebar below the main content with an edit icon separating them?? Obviously I want the sidebar to the right of the main content.
entry-content was 1120px x 295px so I revised the child style.css to be 672px x 320px hoping that this was the cause but to no avail.
The edit icon is footer class=”entry-meta”.
On the Home (Front) Page Nothing is checked for Screen Options.
If you need to see my child style.css I would be more than happy to send it to you.
Thank you for the framework and thank you for your time.
    John

    Tomas,
I was able to remove the entry-meta but still can not get the sidebar to float to the right of the main content.

In this case I would select default template for the page that you use as a home page, then sidebar will be there. Front Page template is for the cases, when you want users to focus on the main message without being distracted with extra stuff.

    Tomas,
The change worked like a charm. I made the change quickly and tomorrow I will work on making it pretty!! Thx.
For my benefit what is the difference between the Home Page and the Front page?
    Thanks again.
Now off to the next challenge.

In many ways they are similar, but please read here:

Also, Front page <> Front-page template, that is only a template named this way because usually people are using it for the Front page, but you can use this template for any page.
