Home Page Option – toggle issue

Great plugin, like it best over others. Only thing is the ʻshow on home pageʻ option doesn’t work for my site… it works under pages though. I tried another snow plugin that did recognize my home page as home… so not sure where the change has to be made. Thanks for your help.
