Home tab

I am having difficulty adding a “home” tab on my theme’s menu. I have the home tab enabled under appearance -> theme settings -> menu, but it still only shows my pages. Not sure if this is a glitch or there’s an option I need to change.

I’ve already attempted to uninstall and reinstall the theme to no avail. When I enable the generic wordpress menu my home link/tab shows fine (as displayed here: iheartbeautyblog.com)
