Homepage Problem- Please help :(

    Hello, I tried to add a WP blog to my website. However, I mistakenly set the blog up as my homepage. Now I cannot get my original content page as WP won’t let me change it back. Please help

    You removed WP?
    Did you delete the .htaccess?

    I would like to completely get rid of wordpress. Its not what I expected. Not smart enough to use it. I didn’t mean for the blog to be my homepage. I guess I just need to find out where .htassess is? thank you. Davo

    Dave,

    It’s right there in the directory if it exists. When you uploaded index.php to your root directory it perhaps overwrote our original index.php file?

    If you successfully installed wordpress, you are smart enough to use it.

    Basically to get rid of WP you need to delete all of the files you uploaded with it. It’s that simple. You may also desire to delete the mysql database too.
