Which section do you want to disable?
Have you tried the rules section in the plugin admin?
Please elaborate so that I can suggest a solution.
When I use the “middle of post” AD, it puts it on every micro-blog within the page. We use a script called live blogging which takes several blogs and inputs them into the page of our choice.
Middle of Post not currently enabled, but see: http://arrests.havasuscannerfeed.com
The microblog setup allows me to have it ignore certain hooks so they do not appear in the microblog posting, this should put your script then in between them on the page (my hopes).
The plugin gives a box to enter under:
Actions to be unhooked when displaying live blog content (advanced feature that can be used to work around badly coded plugins that mangle individual live blog entries in undesirable ways, e.g., some bookmarking plugins)
The hook used is “the_content”.
If you can add a category to each new microblog article, you can just disable that category in the rules section to hide the ads.
The liveblog doesn’t have an area to select a category. I’ll try the hook you use provided.
The issue I am [still] experiencing is not with your script, but appears to be with “Live Blogging Plus”.
I will accept that it is what it is.
Thanks for trying to help me. 🙂
I TAKE THAT BACK…
It is now working EXACTLY as I wanted it to.
PERFECT!
It is working inadvertently.
It is working correctly here:
http://arrests.havasuscannerfeed.com/arrest-log-january-14-2018/
… where it shows up between the microblogs.
But then breaks on the page before it:
http://arrests.havasuscannerfeed.com/arrest-log-january-13-2018/
… where it is putting the code several times throughout the live blogs.
