Horizontal content slider (Sky theme)

So basically I want to create the same sliding content on my WP site as this site has: http://elegantthemes.com/preview/Sky/. I also have this similar “content box” in the middle with vertical scrollers (content scrolls within the box).

Is there any plugin ready for that or do I need to just customize it myself? Also a background question, now in that example the background doesn’t slide all the way and it’s just a pattern, however my site has full photo backgrounds and separate backgrounds for separate pages (1900px wide images) so can I make it happen so it will work on different resolutions…? Or is there some other solution available for this? What do you suggest?
