Subject: Issue with menu item separator lines when using Avada theme

    Message:

    Hello Ultimate Member Support Team,

I am experiencing a persistent issue on my website, which uses the Avada theme along with your Ultimate Member plugin.

The Problem: In the Avada mobile menu, a horizontal separator line (a border-bottom) appears on all menu items. The issue seems directly related to Ultimate Member’s menu visibility feature. The lines appear on menu items that have visibility rules set for logged-in/logged-out users.

My Website: [여기에 본인의 웹사이트 주소를 입력하세요, 예: https://myswip.net]

What I have tried so far (with expert help): We have tried dozens of extensive troubleshooting steps without success. This is a very stubborn issue. We have tried:

    1. Using Custom CSS to override border, border-bottom, box-shadow, and background-image with !important.
    2. Using JavaScript (jQuery) with setTimeout to forcibly remove styles after the page loads.
    3. Using JavaScript to inject a new <style> block into the document’s <head> to override all related styles.
    4. Using JavaScript to target and hide ::before and ::after pseudo-elements.

None of these methods have worked, which leads us to believe this is a deep conflict where your plugin’s JavaScript is dynamically and persistently rewriting the styles of the menu items controlled by UM.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this conflict with the Avada theme’s mobile menu?

Thank you for your time and help.

    Hello @geront

This is not the UM issue. Ultimate Member’s menu visibility feature is remove menu items from HTML. In your case I see empty menu items (<li></li> elements). Also, we don’t use the JS for menu items.

Please ask the Avada support about this issue.

    Regards.
