Horizontally align fields in section

First of all thanks for creating this great framework. It for sure is the most powerful framework I’ve seen so far.

I’d like to create a quite complex metabox for a custom post type. I’d like to use repeatable sections containing several fields. As users will probably use quite a lot of these sections it would be great if I could arrange the fields horizontally instead of the default vertical way. Just using CSS won’t work as fiels are put in a table by APF.
Any ideas on how this could work?
