Hi Markus,
Enabling that setting will mean that all the fonts you have added using Fonts Plugin will automatically be locally hosted on your domain.
If your theme or other plugins load Google Fonts, you will want to disable them using this plugin – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/disable-remove-google-fonts/
Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
Thanks!
hello @dannycooper hello @webmark487
many thanks for the thread – and for creating this awesome plugin.
i am currently working on some issues – that have to do with the CSS and google fonts.
To begin with the beginning: i have found out that my wordpress-site fetches two google fonts:
-one of them is montserrat
-the second is varelaround
Font
https://fonts.gstatic.com/s/montserrat/v25/jtusjig1_i6t8kchkm459wlhyw.woff2
https://fonts.gstatic.com/s/varelaround/v19/w8gdh283tvk__lua32tysjifp8up.woff2
i decided to host them locally. so i thought that i have to
a. fetch the fonts
b. correct the css code
and now i found your plugin; I have read an article on Wptavern.com:
all i understand is that i can use your plugin to serve the above mentioned fonts locally.
With your plugin i do not have to fetch them … i can use your tool and
with enabling that mentioned setting i will run all fonts i have added using Fonts Plugin will automatically be locally hosted on my domain.

many thanks for the plugin – i am happy and i will use it.
keeep up the great work – it rocks
