When you say host externally, where exactly do you mean?
I’m not sure there is an easy solution to this, because the addcount.js.php file needs access to your mySQL database because that is what updates the count.

I use google drive to host the js/css/jpg/etc of my site. to reduce the hosting bill. i don’t know if it’s possible with this plugin js.
I guess it’s not possible, since that only works for static files.

Unfortunately, it won’t be possible. If you’re really concerned about the amount of traffic that your site is generating, you can save a bit of load by using CloudFlare.
I have that running for some of my sites and it definitely is a good solution. And, best of all its free with some limitations.

I once made a cloudflare account but i stopped when they asked me to change my dns records..i read about people that felt their site slower after using it, or that if it has problems and goes down, your site will be down too.
didn’t wanna risk it adding an “extra thing that can go wrong”, but maybe i am wrong.
Thanks for helping me save bandwidth!

My personal experience has been good with CloudFlare. Then again I tend to monitor my site several times a day. Not sure how accurate the results are but it does appear to have saved some bandwidth for me.
