    you can use it for that but a Wiki might be a better idea… (there are wiki plugins for wordpress too)

    I happened to see this discussion, so here are my 2 cents…

    IIRC, there was a time I had tried to use WP like this. All you need are 1) a hierarchical post type like the default pages, 2) a breadcrumb or other menu for easy navigation between pages and 3) possibly something (plugin or some javascript) to generate a TOC, if the content is long.

    Not really sure what you expect to find in example sites..

    Nevertheless, a wiki is probably a better tool for this job.

    I’d also very highly recommend taking a look at Sphinx (uses restructured text – RST). It’s a little cumbersome, but it rocks.
