    I coulndt reach my site anymore. I called my hosting provider, and they said that they blocked the Ip because wordfence overloading the host server with post requests. Im a novice in WordPress or in wordfence, so i cant figure this out. I wanted to buy the paid version, but now iam waiting due to this problem. The server constantly says:

    And that a lot…

    Whats the problem and how can i fex this> I want to use wordfence, but i dont wnna be blocked by my hosting provider by spamming 🙂

  • We’d need to see what options are checked. One thing you might do is disable live traffic as soon as you activate it. That should help immediately.

    Hi Tim,

    I used falcon and life traffic was off..
    How can i let you see the checked options? i really want to use wordfence on my site (the paid version) but i have to be sure its working without giving trouble overloading the host server.

    Options checked:

    Enable fireewal
    Enable login security
    Enable automatic scheduled scans
    Security level custom (i didnt checked the box live traffic logging

    Alerts:
    All execpt when updated and non admin sign in

    Life traffic view.. Nothing

    Scans
    all Execpt:
    Theme files
    Plugin files
    Outside wordpress
    images if exe
    hig sensitive

    Firewalls
    standard settings

    Login
    standard settings

    Other options standard settings

    Turn off High sensitivity and uncheck images if exe. Check disable code execution in the uploads folder instead.
