Hi @vadu111 ,
You see, those options are the pro features of the plugin.
So you won’t be able to see them on the free version.
Let us know if you’re facing any issues with the free version.
Thanks.
@jahirchowdhury – thanks for the quick response. I understand. So, in the free version, what value should I enter in “Hotspot Custom Icon Class” field to display the default HotSpot Icon to switch between screens?
Or is it that switching scenes using hotspot is NOT at all possible in free version?
Hi @vadu111 ,
Yes, you can connect scenes to your hotspots on the free version.
You see, we have two types of hotspots available on the free version:
Info Type Hotspot and Scene Type Hotspot.
Change the hotspot type to Scene type hotspot to connect scenes with it.
You can follow this documentation for it: https://rextheme.com/docs/wp-vr-hotspots-one-scene-to-another-connect-two-scenes/
Also, the ‘Hotspot Custom Icon Class’ is for customizing hotspot icons only.
Go to this documentation: https://rextheme.com/docs/wp-vr-customize-hotspot-icons-and-color/
Scroll down to this part of the documentation: “Using Custom Hotspot Icons Of Your Own Choice”.
Let me know if you have any more questions about the plugin.
Thanks.
Got it. This was very helpful. You can close this discussion. Appreciate your help.
One suggestion I have on the documentation was to call out explicitly that if I have to add a hotspot for one scene, first I have to select the appropriate scene on the scene page than then move to the hotspot page to add hotspot to that scene. I was doing it the wrong way, by selecting/double clicking the required scene in the preview and tried to add hotspot and that didnt work. 🙂 :). That was the missing piece.
And the information on custom-icon – Custom script was very useful.
Hi @vadu111 ,
That’s great!
We’re glad that we could help you out.
Feel free to open another thread if you face any more issues with the plugin.
Thanks.
