Hotspots on graphics

    I downloaded a theme which uses an image (gif) on all the pages, I replaced that image with something i would like to use – however I would like to add a hotspot to an area to open up another page – how can i accomplish this via php?

    I’m not sure I understand about the “using php” part, but if you have an image ready to go, could you not just define co-ordinates in your image src that would create a plain old html image map? Here is a quick example of what I mean.
