    Hi,
on the page http://www.dazo.nl/verhuur the menu works fine. When hovered, the slight blue color is visible above and under the menu item.
But on the main page it isn´t. This has something to do with the menu contents. The links are anchor links.

What can I do to have the hover on the homepage show the slight blue color and hide it when not hoverd?

    TIA
    Rachel

  • Hello @rachel2munro

This happens because you’re using ID navigation within the homepage. It is a limitation coming from WordPress itself, but it should be easily fixed with the Page Scroll to ID plugin. We even have some specific instructions on how to integrate the plugin with Blocksy, available here — https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/docs/integrations/page-scroll-to-id/

Hope this points you in the right direction.

    Thanks.

hi. Plugin now with the correct settings. But the issues remains. I guess, of course, my knowledge is not sufficient.
For example, when on the homepage http://www.dazo.nl you go to menu item #Blogs, that´s fine. But in the content you can go to a different page with more blogs: http://www.dazo.nl/blogs/ On that page the menu tries to find the anchorlink in the menu. So therefore I had an adapted link in the menu, not #Blogs but fulladdress/#Blogs to go to a different page. That works fine, but the color of the highlighted link is at all times still blue.

    Hello @rachel2munro

I understand what’s happening, but this is a limitation actually coming from WordPress itself. It will definitely happen with any other theme out there, because that’s how the menu system works like.

That’s why I recommended to use the scroll to ID plugin, as I’m confident that they have some options to detect where the page is scrolled and unhighlight the other links.

    Thanks
