Hover Popup Doesn’t Disappear

Hi, I’ve created a map where multiple polygons are next to each other. Some of these polygons are configured to display a popup on hover, others are not. When I hover a polygon with the popup enabled, the popup displays fine, however when I move my mouse into a polygon with no hover popup, the popup does not disappear, it just freezes in place. When my mouse re-enters the first polygon, a new popup is generated. Moving from a polygon with a popup enabled to another polygon with a popup enabled works fine.

The map ends up looking like this after a while:
